56 Meals in under 2 Hours… Here’s How

Meal prepping nutritious and delicious meals doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, it can be fun and quick when you do it with friends! Here’s how you can make meal prepping an enjoyable and efficient activity.

Step 1: Gather Your Crew

Start by gathering 5-8 friends. The more, the merrier (and faster it goes!). Having a group of friends not only makes the task more enjoyable but also helps in dividing the workload.

Step 2: Plan the Event

Set a date and location for your meal prep party. Make it a fun event with drinks and music. For example, we got together on a Sunday afternoon to set our week off on the healthy side! Choose a time that works for everyone, and ensure you have enough space to accommodate all the cooking and prepping.

Step 3: Choose Recipes and Order Groceries

Pick your recipes and order groceries online. This helps you to save time and money! Bulk buying is GREAT for this! Make sure to multiply the recipes so each attendee gets a full set of meals. Opt for recipes that are easy to prepare and freeze well.

Step 4: Divide and Conquer

Many hands make light work! Get together and have a blast. With music, drinks, and laughs, you can make the prep time fly by. Assign different tasks to different people: some can chop veggies, others can measure spices, weigh meat, and build the meals in freezer bags. Don’t forget to label the bags with heating instructions for easy preparation later on.
